I take great pleasure in filling out surveys, and so treated myself this morning to a survey (via ReadWriteWeb) about my “Personal Digital Footprint.” Turns out I create and replicate about 3,479 MB of information daily. I’ve stolen a movie or two in my day, so the number didn’t exactly surprise me, but it saddened me to think that not one of those 3 million kilobytes is spent placing my thoughts online.

And so, in an effort to improve this massive footprint of mine with a byte or two of creative output, I’ve posed myself a challenge: write exactly 151 words for all to see, for 5 days a week, for 1 year.

I planned on 150 words, but some punk already has the necessary wordpress blog, so 151 it is. Perhaps those extra 260 words (1 x 5 x 52) will make all the difference.
